Nine migrants die in Tabasco

Friday evening a van went off the road and plunged into the river in Aztapa town, municipality of Jalapa, in the state of Tabasco, leaving nine dead migrants, whose bodies were recovered.

In addition, six other migrants were taken to the hospital, who remain in serious conditions.

The white van was driven at high speed, according to witnesses.

According to authorities, six men and three women died, all from Guatemala.
