With a smile and a very good temple, Fernando del Solar appeared before the cameras to grant a television interview to Raquel Bigorra and Daniel Bisogno, where he spoke about the difficulties he has faced since the advent of his cancer.
Accompanied by his parents, Del Solar could not contain the tears after listening to "Aprendiendo a Volar" by Patricia Sosa, his favorite song. The TV host admitted that after believing he had everything in life, he received the news about his health problems.
"That day when I was diagnosed, July 12, was Ingrid's (Coronado, his wife) birthday. Roberto Romagnoli was leaving the hosting of La Academia TV show for me and on that very night because we did not get a previous appointment, we went to see the oncologist to find what I had ... It was a crazy day," he said.

However, Del Solar said he feels good and eager to live because he has found in his children the energy to do so. "To be a father is the greatest thing, the most beautiful thing. It is unconditional love," he said.
The Argentine host also expressed that he already has some work projects and is filled with hope.
"I feel closer to God, now I understand many things. Within the curse of what this has been I now encounter the blessings. There are very good things, I have learned to appreciate what is really important," he said.
Through his Twitter account, Del Solar has been very active by thanking his followers for their support and encouragement.
