Grupo Rotoplas S.A.B. de C.V., the Mexican leading provider in Latin America of individual and integrated water solutions, announced it will close a production facility in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, for strategic reasons.
The company announced through the Mexican Stock Exchange that the equipment will be relocated to other Grupo Rotoplas plants in Brazil in order to optimize expenses and maintain the profitability of the business without affecting the future supply of the water solutions the market is demanding.
According to the financial report of the company, the contracts with different clients in Brazil have advanced at a much slower rate as agreed, derived from the political and economic crisis experienced.
