A group of armed men killed Luis Manuel Lara Muñoz, former municipal leader of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).
Police reports said today morning the former president of the Municipal Executive Committee of the PRI in Tierra Blanca, was executed by a group of armed men on the Veracruz-Córdoba federal highway near the place known as 'La Serenilla.'
The former PRI municipal leader was traveling in a black SUV when he was attacked by gunmen who shot him from another vehicle.
