Michoacán police found four bodies in advanced state of decomposition in the town of San Juan de los Plátanos in the municipality of Apatzingán.
The finding was reported on the Quiroga-Tepalcapetec highway.
According to the authorities, the bodies were abandoned on a dirt road that connects the above mentioned highway.
The bodies show signs of torture and some of them had their heads covered with plastic bags.
