Relatives and sympathizers of the 43 students from Ayotzinapa missing for more than two years held a protest at the so-called "Anti-monument" for the missing over main Reforma avenue and demanded the continuation of all investigations into their disappearance.
After a march from the nearby premises of the Office of the Attorney General (PGR), the more than a thousand protesters demanded once again the return of the students, alive and well.
The kids disappeared 22 months ago in Iguala, and their parents are demanding deeper investigations, focusing on supposed calls made from their cellphones after their disappearance by police officers from Iguala and Cocula, who delivered them to the criminal gang known as Guerreros Unidos.
They also said that it is necessary to follow the recommendations of the Inter-American Human Rights Commission because "we don't trust the Mexican authorities".
