Emergency plan for hailstorm concludes in Coacalco

At least 120 families continue with the cleaning of their houses.

The Mexican Army completed the implementation of the Natural Emergencies Program DN-III in the areas of Lomas de Coacalco and Villa de las Manzanas, where 120 families are still facing the daunting task of cleaning their houses after the massive hailstorm of last Sunday.

Meanwhile, medical personnel continues with the labours of vaccination, cleaning water tanks and distributing hypochlorite tablets and albendazole serum.

The rain fell over communities located in the slopes of the Sierra de Guadalupe mountain range, with two people killed when they were dragged by the current of water and ice, and many more are facing the total loss of their belongings.
